This week was spent at home doing the MTC trainings online. A schedule was followed starting with a 6:30am wake up time and online zoom classes starting at 8:30 or 9am. Some meetings were just between Brayden and his companion, others were with his district and some included all the missionaries doing online training at the time. He learned about the purpose of a mission and how to teach. During his breaks mom was his companion and errands were run together to get him out of the house a bit.
A lot of packing also happened this week. Not only did Brayden have to pack up his suitcases for the next 2 years of his living but his room also needed to be emptied so Maddy will be able to move in and take over. It was a little shocking how someones 18 yrs of existence can fit into 5 Costco totes.
During this week Brayden showed dedication in making sure he was diligently taking notes, being present and onetime to every meeting and volunteering the information that he had been learning throughout the day to the family on his down times.
Brayden really likes his companion, Elder Mecham, and is looking forward to hanging out with his district in person in Provo. He says they are "awesome" and already have plans on the basketball court.
